Lost

Tears, they fall, landing in the emptiness unseen.
Silence shouts out louder than the screams I wish to hear
The blood is pounding in my brain, I don’t want to feel the pain.
All the raspy whys dance in time to the soundtrack of my life
This is the life. Wandering around, lost inside
Scared to walk the next step, too much terror to stand still
The devil and the innocence rage on
Tenderness and torture locked in a waltz
I want to lay the blame but I own the fault.
Tears, all mine are worthless
Silence has no remorse
The pain will hold me in a lovers embrace
Smiling softly, it has your face.
